She was built 1954 at Chester, Pa. as ECLIPSE for Socony Vacuum Oil Co, which later became part of the Mobil Oil Co, and she was of 26 794 t.dw.
Sold 1978 to Cove Shipping Inc., and became COVE SPIRIT
9/7-1984 she arrived at Karachi, Pakistan for scrapping, which commenced at Gadani Beach six days later.
