Upstream on the River Rhine passing Neuss/Germany at Rhine Kilometer 737. The decommissioned submarine U 17 (S196) will be part of the collection of Technik Museum Speyer in southern Germany. The submarine is onboard of pontoon LASTDRAGER 27 (ENI 02720576) which is pushed by inland tug PIETER VAN DER WEES (ENI 02338707).
