The U.S.S.R.'s Black Sea Shipping Company's 1970 Gdansk built B40 type TOYVO ANTIKAYNEN outbound from Montreal on 24th July 1985, probably following discharge of a cargo of bulk sugar cane from Havana.

NEW SHIPYARD SZCZECIN ... It was established in the Adolf Warski SHIPYARD in Szczecin ... Yes, after the collapse of the Warski Shipyard, NOWA STOCZNIA SZCZECIŃSKA (as part of Porta Holding S.A.) was established (October 19, 2001), but its life ended with liquidation on December 30, 2008 . It had so much in common with its collapsed predecessor that it operated in the same area and dealt with shipbuilding. Currently, attempts are being made to restore ship production on the grounds and base of the former A. Warski Shipyard, the company has returned to its pre-war name WULKAN.

For a retired seaman correct naming is important. I have always been annoyed by the ignorance of foreign ship officers who entered the port of destination Stettin instead of Szczecin or Danzig instead of Gdansk in the AIS system. It's like little things, but they matter.
