Hey Csaba,

It looks like we've shared the "prekomanda" experience on this ship. :)

Mine has brought me from Pula to Split, and the first couple of hours heaped in the bowels of "Galeb" is something I'll never forget.

She'll be ready in a couple of months (at a prohibitive price, and not only EU coin), but the question remains if anybody will invest more to start any sort of commercial venture, not only a museum. She's now just a motorless barge, and she'll be anchored at Rijeka port. I don't know about the flag, but her ownership is still firmly with the city of Rijeka.

Cheers/Prijatno septembar

Thanks for the update Vlad. I spent few hours on her as a Yugoslav navy recruit. I did first 6 months of my service in Pula. Then, well over a thousand of us was packed onto her, so tightly that we sat in each other laps in the corridors. Had there been any kind of an emergency it could have been a disaster. I disembarked in Sibenik, she continued to Split and Kumbor.
What are the future plans for her?
Why is she under foreign flag now? Has she been sold?
