Thanks for the photo(s) of this ship. And I appreciate the comments. I agree. A true beauty. We need more of this in our modern world.

True Beauty. It is a pity that in today's computerized and soulless world there is no room for pure beauty. When I started my high school education (1960s) and later my studies at the Gdańsk University of Technology, beauty in shipbuilding was of great importance. With a high degree of probability, it was possible to recognize the characteristics of a ship characteristic of a particular shipyard from a distance. Later, when my time at sea began (late 1970s), everything I wrote was still valid. Beautiful general cargo ships, refrigerated ships and passenger ships called at Polish ports. I do not write about bulk carriers and tankers (although I spent several long years on their decks) because they have never sinned with beauty. Today, most small general cargo and container ships are products of Dutch shipyards. They all basically look the same. They differ in size , color of the hull ... Their silhouettes are almost identical . The appearance of coolers is varied. Passenger ships are large barns placed on steel hulls.
They are far from beautiful even RMS QUEEN MARY or RMS QUEEN ELISABETH ... All bulk carriers differ in size and handling equipment . Ships for special tasks are a separate group of units that do not always impress us with their beauty.
What is left for lovers of old beautiful ships? Only Portal Shipspotting and your own - beautiful - memories ...
