Faroese pass/car ferry DUGVAN is here seen at Klaksvik in August 1994.
This small ferry was built 1969 at Elmshorn as SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN for German owners.
In 1986 she was sold to Faroe Islands and renamed DUGVAN.
Next sale came in 2006; now she became SAL-REI of Cape Verde Islands.
On 30/10-2013 she was reported to have sunk after collision with a tankship in the port of Praia.
She was later raised again, but due to damages and age she was condemned.
