Description:

Elders & Fyffes' 1939 Hamburg built reefer REVENTAZON, which was ordered by Afrikanische Frucht (Reederei Laeisz GmbH) as PANTHER but completed at Copenhagen in 1941 as the auxiliary cruiser SALZBURG for the German Navy, was a regular caller at Avonmouth, for example passing Portishead on 7th July 1963. Here, she seen in the Mersey estuary, probably during a call at Garston, on 10th June 1952.
