Description:

Icelandic GIGJA is here seen at Akureyri, Iceland in July 1994.
This vessel was built 1966 as KRISTJAN VALGEIR by Kaarbø M/V, Harstad in Northern Norway, and was lengthened in 1976 and 1979.
Sold domestic 1971 and renamed GRINDVIKINGUR, and in 1978 she became GIGJA.
Her last sale was in 2003 when she became STAKKANES.
In June 2010 she was sold to breakers in Fredrikshavn, Denmark
