Description:

A regular visitor to Bergen in the 70's was German HANNELORE. As we can see on this photo from February 1978, she wears the funnel mark of Bergen Line (BDS), who had the vessel on T/C.
HANNELORE was built 1964 by J.J. Sietas, Hamburg, as one of nine vessels of the "type 37" which was built by the yard.
Sold to Cayman Islands-flag owners in 1983 and renamed ISLAND VENTURER.
In 2004 she was deleted from registers; fate unknown.
