Description:

At the San Pablo Strait of San Francisco Bay, a pair of low-lying, rocky islets on each side of the waterway are known as, appropriately, the Sisters and the Brothers. To highlight these treacherous formations, a lighthouse was constructed on East Brother Island in 1874.

Today, the structure, quite picturesque in its Victorian-era "Stick style" architecture, is used as a bed-and-breakfast.
