SEVAN, the Soviet ship which rescued the crew of the burning BACHO KIRO ( IMO 5414921) in November 1978.

Built at Leningrad in 1965 as SVIRLES, she was converted in 1967/70 for use as the space control & monitoring ship SEVAN.

SEVAN was beached at Alang for scrapping on 10 November 1990
