Description:
The Brodogradilište 'Tito', Belgrade, built MORAVA, seen at Tenerife in 1962, had visited Avonmouth on 14th/16th August 1963. Her funnel marking JRB stands for Jugoslovensko Recno Brodarstvo of Beograd (Belgrade), with Rijeka as port of registry.
Launched as CIRCLE on 28th November 1958 for foreign owners, delivery in August 1960 was rejected and she became owned by Brodogradilište 'Tito' with Jugoslovensko Recno Brodarstvo as operator/manager. Then Kvarnerska Plovidba emerged as a charterer, registering her in Rijeka as MORAVA.
On December 31, 1962 Kvarnerska ceased to exist and MORAVA was registered in Beograd. In 1969, she was transferred to Prekookeanska Plovidba and registered at Bar but almost immediately sold to German buyers and renamed ALSTERDAMM.
Later: 1973 PORTLAND - 79 GIZAN - 81 KUKI STAR
She was scrapped at Bombay in 1982, soon after her engine room flooded
