Description:
Greek tanker IONIC is here seen at the Schelde Estuary just outside Vlissingen in August 1981.
This vessel was built 1966 by IHI, Yokohama, for the Greek Lemos group.
She was sold to other Greek owners in 1984 and renamed GOLDEN ISLAND, but this did not last for long.
Already in January 1985 she arrived at Inchon, South Korea for demolition.
