Description:

United States Lines' 1963 Quincy built C4-S-64a type AMERICAN COMMANDER was berthed at Southampton on 5th September 1963. Here she is seen at Boston by Wm.A.Schell.

Later: 1967 PIONEER COMMANDER

She was scrapped in 2012, presumably after lying idle for many years as part of the United States' reserve fleet
