Description:

The Canadian Coast Guard navigation aids tender SIR WILFRED GRENFELL passing Ogden Point bound for the Victoria Coast Guard base. She was originally being constructed as an offshore supply vessel when the Coast Guard took over and had her completed as a search and rescue vessel on the east coast in 1987. In 2020 and 2021, she was relocated to the west coast and converted to a navigation aids tender to replace the retired buoy tender BARTLETT.
