Your efforts in obtaining the pictures are always appreciated. I understand the problems in getting to the various vantage points for pictures , few of which have car parking close by. As you say departure times dont always fit in with best weather conditions, and given the current wet weather you end up getting soaked thro!. Thanks again

Indeed although it would have been better to have a nice clean photo of her. She’s leaving later around 13:00 but I don’t have the strength to get out today and the weather isn’t helping either. These shorter days are very unproductive from a spotting point of view. When you think you might just be able to make it to a vessel departing at the end of the day (midweek), you have all the school traffic, possible bridge closures, roadworks, accidents, weather. And (in my case), prepping what you need. It’s all mentally wearing. It’s not just a case of grabbing the camera anymore. I need my hat, my sticks etc. But apart from that, I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to get out for some excercise.
