To Foggy, except for excellent winter and darkness photos of course, you should really note that this is a really world unique ship of any kind as being the only commercial working nuclear powered ship at all -except for the hard working atomic icebreakers of the Murmansk "Atomflot" of course. SEVMORPUTj is an short word for SEVERNYJ MORSKOJ PUTj meaning the Northern Sea Route between Kola(Murmansk) and north of Sibir coast in "Arktika" to Tchukotka and Alyaska waters where the Pacific Ocean begins in the east. The SEVMORPUTj is running a cargo line with own endurance with her reactor fuel independently for many months on her own. She is a part of MURMANSKOE MORSKOE PAROCHODSTVO(MMP) - Murmansk shipping company. There is an excelelnt presentation of the atomic fleet on the MSCo homepage at www.msco.ru where there is fine photos and also a lots also in English! Donä't hesitate to read about one of the world's most interesting unique ships and shipping companies! Just some days ago here in April 2007 a sixth sister has now been delivered at last in the PROJECT 10510 class, keel laind already in 1989 as OKTJABRSKAJA REVOLJUTSIJA, renamed in 1992 at shipayrd to URAL and in 1995 commemorating the 50th Anniversary over fascism in 1945 to 50 LET POBEDY, "50 years for the Victory" - the now strongest ship and icebreaker in the world with a displacement of some 24 000 tonnes and 75 000 horsepowers on three aft propellers. She is one of six ships in the ARKTIKA class and by so the only ships able to go to the top of the world - the North Pole. If you have many tens of thousands of US Dollars - you can take a cruise with these ships under permanent summer sun all-day-around when these ships in sumemr time are quite free from work by natural reasons. They have their base also as cruise ships in Murmansk where one can visit the world's first atomic ship, the LENIN from 1959, like in the space race, won over USA with quite a time limit as the SAVANNAH entered the seas finished first in 1962. Excellent Soviet steel won again, like in 1945.
