Owner was Victory Carriers Inc, which was a U.S. company set up and owned by the Greek owner Aristotle Onassis.

In 1988 the MOUNT WASHINGTON was transferred to U.S. Government (MARAD).
On 23/1-2014 she arrived in tow at Brownsville, Tx. from Suisun Bay for demolition.
