Description:
Small Italian pass/ferry MONTE SOLARO is here seen at Naples in February 1991.
This vessel was built 1939 by Schiffswerft A. Pahl, Hamburg, as PREUSSEN.
In 1945 she was renamed NIEDERSACHSEN, and sailed between Cuxhaven and Brunsbüttel.
Sold to Italy in 1968 becoming MONTE SOLARO, and as far as I know she is still in service now in 2023.
