Description:
Fishing tender seen laid-up on Steamboat Slough of the Snohomish River near Everett, Washington.
Originally delivered during World War II as a Self-Propelled Barge (BSP) for the United States Army, like many of the type, she was acquired by civilian interests postwar and rebuilt for the fishing industry. Last used commercially during the 2001 fishing season, the boat eventually was left abandoned along the Snohomish, and was dismantled by the State of Washington in 2020.
