Description:

Keystone Shipping's PERRYVILLE is here seen at a refinery in New Orleans area sometime during December 1976.
This vessel was built 1943 by Sun Shipbuilding Co, Chester, Pa. as T2 tanker PERRYVILLE for Paco Tankers Inc, which was an affiliate of Chas. Kurz & Co. In 1960 she was transferred to Keystone Shipping, another company in the Kurz group.
In 1961 she was heavily rebuilt by Todd Shipyard, Alameda. She was fitted with a new midbody / cargo section, which had been built by Mitsubishi, Yokohama. When back in service, her deadweight had increased from the original 16 613 to 25 485 t.dw.

On 08.08.1982 she arrived at Chittagong, Bangladesh for demolition, which commenced 06.10.1982.
So she sailed for 39 years without change of name, which is quite unusual for a T2 tanker.

No sinking going on. Just seem like she started discharging first from some of the aft tanks.
