Description:

The 1945 Gothenburg built ELLITSA, managed by Flandermar Shipping of Piraeus, westbound in the Kiel Canal at Holtenau on 8th November 1975 during a voyage from Sweden to Alexandria.

EX-BECKY-75 (A/B Transmarin until 1965, then John E.Sandstrom of Stockholm)

As ELLITSA, she traded worldwide until arriving at Koper in July 1976. Therefter remaining in the Mediterranean Sea area, she was acquired by fellow Greeks Moriatis Shipping in 1980 who sailed her to Freetown only for her to be laid up and abandoned to local interests who were going to trade her as TIMBU until she suffered a fire on 28th January 1981 and was broken up.
