Greek bulker PETINGO is here seen on the Mississippi River sometime during the second half of 1976.
This bulker was built 1967 by Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industries (IHI), Aioi, for the Liverpool-based Bibby Line Ltd.

1967: PACIFIC BRIDGE (U.K.)
1974: PETINGO (Liberia)
1976: PETINGO (Greece)
1980: PETINGO (Panama)
30/6-1990: Got cracks in her hull in bad weather on a voyage from Saldanha Bay to China with iron ore. Turned around and tried to get back to South Africa, but broke in four parts just off the coast on 3/7/1990.
