POLARIS I was registered in Netherlands Antilles when I photographed her in the Southern North Sea in October 1992. We had her as stand-by guard/rescue vessel when we worked on the oilfields and pipelines there.
This vessel was built 1954 at Haarlem as a buoy tender.

Her name history: 1954: Delivered as TERNEUZEN - 1981: POLARIS - 1982: POLARIS I - 1995: TENDER I - 2023: TENDER.
