The 1944 Chester, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. built T2-SE-A1 tanker ESSO GLASGOW, which had a new cargo section fitted in 1957 shortly before starting coastal service around the U.K., is seen approaching Avonmouth's Royal Edward lock outbound.
