Not sure where to put this photo or if it even meets the site standard. But thought to post it as it may be interesting. The ship's deck is M/V Mavro Vetranic, the barge is one of the dozens that came alongside us to load cattle food while we were at anchor. Hundreds of labourers would load, by hand, sacks of cattle food on the slings, then load them into the cargo hold where hundred or so others would cut them open with knives and spill the content. No mechanization at all, except our derricks, as if we went back in time. We were at Jamnagar anchorage.
