One of a large class of Polish built containerships, the 2006 built CMA CGM Auckland is seen berthing at Napier 3.10.06. She operates in her operators CMA CGM (The French Line) joint Suez Loop service with Hapag-Lloyd from New Zealand to Europe via Australia. Her future has a little uncertainty now as CMA CGM announced the start of a new stand-alone service of their own on the same route, and they unlikely to continue the Suez Loop for much longer.
