After Loucas Pelopidas Haji-Ioannou (1927-2008) retired in 1989 a new company, Troodos Maritime International SA, was created in Monte Carlo by his elder son Polys (b. 1959) to take over management of the fleet, which by 1992 had grown to twenty ships. Troodos Maritime had acquired the 1972 Australian built and operated Mobil Australis in 1991. Renamed Morando, it can be seen from the photograph that the letters LH were no longer displayed on the ship’s funnel. Morando was sold in 1994 for use as a storage vessel in the Camar Field, Indonesia, under the name Camar Ayu.
