Oh how extremly nice! I remember Helgoland very well. When it was bad weather and heavy rolling, it was good to see helgoland and knowing it wasnt that far to Bremen/Bremerhafen/Hamburg.
And a tax-free heaven, hehe

Yep, tax-free was the main reason to make such trips. A pity they didn't sell electronics (like labtops :-D ) on board. And even more a pity that due to EU regulations tax-free shopping on board had to end some years ago, if I'm not mistaken! :-(
I always loved these little "cruise liners" :-) ...
