HMCS Summerside MM711 on a mooring buoy in the Bedford Basin,Nova Scotia on July 31st 2007.Summerside is the twelfth Maritime Coastal Defence Vessel (MCDV) commissioned into the Canadian Navy completing the Kingston(700) Class.She was commissioned July 1999 and is based on Halifax with five of her sisters.The other six ships are based at Esquimalt,British Columbia.
