The iconic 1960 built Great Lakes bulker Edward L. Ryerson squeezes through the narrow channel past a drawbridge on the Black River in Lorain, Ohio on August 14, 2007. Carrying a cargo of taconite from the Missabe Range in northern Minnesota the Ryerson will be unloading its taconite about another half mile up the river near the Mittal steel mill.
