Description:

OK - the scanner has arrived and is hooked up. First go, a view into Southampton's Ocean Dock from January 1970 (don't you just love winter sunsshine).

In view we have Uganda, Nevasa and Cunard's Franconia - all of course long since gone.

I've put under cruise liners, but harbour views may also be appropriate.

Perhaps it is red-lead primer on the funnel as part of a repaint job

Dr.Allan.
Bit of an enigma,I sailed on her from 17-12-68 joined Venice
and finally left her 29-09-69 Southampton. She was definitely
in B.I. colours during this time.
I believe she was due to drydock end 69/70,but can't remember
where.

I wonder why Nevasa isn't in BI colours, she should have been in 1970 which was well after her school ship conversion?
