The U.S. flagged selfunloading Great Lakes bulker American Courage is upbound on the Saint Clair River off the refineries at Sarnia, Ontario. Built in 1979 by the Bay Shipbuilding Co. of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, U.S., as the Fred R. White Jr., the bulker assumed its present name in 2006 when sold to American Steamship Co.
