Description:
Cimbria is refuelling alongside at Port Lincoln, South Australia; August 1969. She's about to load sheep, like other Clausen ships in Southern waters in the 1960s - 1970s.
Built by Ansaldo as the Verna Clausen in 1948, she was sold and r/n Duchy of Normandy in 1955. In 1960 she became Cimbria; there followed another name change early in 1977 before she collided with Euro Carrier on 30 October 1977 during a voyage from Jeddah to Dar-Es-Salam. Subsequently b/u and sunk.
