The ship went aground in cornwall after the mate fell asleep during night time. The ship was carrying a cargo of computer scrap from Ireland to the continent. A classic example of fatigue

The wreck lies about 1km north of Land's End lighthouse. When I saw it in July 2003 some wag had painted on the side "RMS Tony Blair".

It is a great problem for navigators.
