Great shot. Good angle, good lighting and majestic vessel.

Rogerio, you are right that she was converted from a tanker to a FSO (Floeating Storage and Offloading). However, she was going to operate as storage and offloading for the semi-submersible production platform P36, which later sank (in March 2001).

Therefore, P47 was converted again from an FSO to an FPSO (Floating Production Storage Offloading) vessel in order to function alone. You can see the production facilities on the deck of the vessel.
