Hello Stefan,

here's a short story about this vessel.

Built at Maas Shipyard in Waterhuizen. Yard no. 12. Launched as NEW VITA. During outfitting some difficulties occured. I think that the yard doesn't exist any longer but I'm not sure. Therefore the decision was made to finish outfitting in Leer at Nessewerft. Possible that the vessel was sold and renamed in the meantime.

They had also difficulties with yard no.10. Launched as BORNRIF. In the meantime the vessel was completed about 1 year after launch at Scheepswerf de Hoop in Foxhol not far away from Waterhuizen. Delivery should have been in 2007 but finally was last month.

Regards,
Holger

Moin holger!
thanks for your update/info!
i was wondering already why this kasko came to leer in one piece. usually they bring in hull parts to leer, weld them together and carry out the restwork before delivery.
tks and rgds,
stefan
