Further research reveals that CITY OF CREMORNE was owned by Lifedream Cia. Nav. S.A., which started business in 1980 with the purchase of CITY OF DUNDEE (scrapped at Gadani Beach 17.1.84) and CITY OF LEEDS (ex CITY OF LICHFIELD) which became a "constructive total loss" after a grounding in November 1980 on voyage from Piraeus to Antalya and was scrapped in 1984.

Others in the fleet included:
CITY OF CAMMERAY (ex GIBRALTAR MARU)
CITY OF CAMELOT (ex SEINE MARU)
CITY OF LOBITO (ex LAGOS PALM II ex CITY OF LOBITO)
CITY OF RIO (ex HOLY)

Thanks for this background, Malcolm. I wonder if CITY OF CREMORNE was ever employed again after my photo, as she did not look in very good condition and was scrapped a few months later.

Thanks for the history, Malcolm. I took the photo as we passed her because she looked an interesting old vessel.
