Hi Tomas

Yes, all this series (6 in total) are all named after lighthouses around the British Isles. There is quite a thread on these started by Ferryman on 12:09:2008.

All are currently operated on behalf of the British Govt., except Beachy Head which is chartered to Transfennica (I have posted this one here). Other names are : Longstone, Hurst Point, Anvil Point, Hartland Point

I noted the recent shot from your lounge.........must be warmer than the bridge !! Is there any chance you might be offering 'Bed & Breakfast' during the summer months ?? !!! Might be a nice little earner.

all the best..........watch out for QE shots later - its the 40th Anniversary today of her leaving Southampton for the last time.

Allan

The LONGSTONE is also still on Transfennica-charter. With BEACHY HEAD and two STENA FORE-vessels on the Finland-Estonia-Germany route.

I believe these ships are managed on behalf of the British Government by Andrew Weir Shipping, London or to us oldens better known as "Andy. Weir or Bank Line" - Bit of a difference from their previous ships :-D
