she is listed as heavy-lift vessel as follows
IMO number: 9223289
Call Sign: BOKF Gross tonnage: 14184
Type of ship: Heavy Load Carrier Year of build: 2003
Flag: China Peoples's Republic
Registered owner: COSCOL
Ship manager: COSCOL
delivered by Guangzhou Shipyard on 28/8/2003
The m/v Kang Sheng Kou joins her sister vessel m/v Tai An Kou. Both vessels were designed to be flexible but are ideally designed to transport JU rigs because of size, favorable motions, high speed, and flexible and fast ballast system. The vessels both provide increased safety due to excellent maneuverability and weather avoidance capabilities. NMA handles the commercial management of COSCO’s semi-submersible fleet worldwide with offices located in both in Houston, USA and Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
