Rotterdam, 2e Werkhaven, Keppel Verolme.

Hi guys, my favourite shot of the both days i was joining you.
Finally got round to these days, after uploading earlier shots made in Amsterdam and Den Helder.

I had a great time meeting you all and enjoyed getting to know you a bit.

It was interesting to learn there are different competing groups of spotters in Rotterdam. Also there is a difference in spotting in Rotterdam or Amsterdam.

Rotterdam off course is bigger the waterways wider and so are the ships. Also they move faster there.

In Amsterdam ships go slower and it's more narrow so that's more relaxed shooting and if one misses a shot, there's always a chance of catching up with the ship and have another go. The IJmuiden locks give opportunity for head on front and aft shots.

Shooting on the Maasvlakte means shooting the ships from above the decks. Also there's more chance of getting a free shot, without any background disturbaces.
