Description:
At marine industries limited shipyard ,sorel in 1982 for repair after having damages caused by fire.
The biggest canadian icebreaker later had a major refit in the 90's to replace the engines and modernized the equipement. It was during that long refit that the canadian coast-guard bought the Terry Fox in order to keep a eavy icebreaker operative in the fleet.

Avec le St-Laurent dans les parages, le timing était bon pour parler d'un peu d'historique
C'est vrai que c'était les belles années à Sorel dans le temps de la marine industrie. Il y a moins d'action maintenant, mais avec Mckeil et Mcnally, la vie a reprie un peu dans la rivière richelieu.
