All that I can do is echo everyone else's views on this handsome little liner. She is certainly one that I wish that I had sailed on. An Alaska cruise aboard her (or any cruise) would have been a delight. It is not just a pity that she is no longer with us but sad that there is not anything much that is comparable, only Serenissima springs to mind.

I think the thing that troubles me most is we had the ability to build some fine vessels here at home but we have lost those skills, and go overseas for this class of vessels in today's economy! mrdot.
