31st March 1965, fifty years ago tomorrow, was fortunately a sunny day for the busy afternoon tide at Avonmouth.
Here is Chr. Salvesen's 1961 Oskarshamn built SALVADA, seen entering the Royal Edward lock, Avonmouth, outbound.
Later: 1972 WEDDELL SEA - 75 ZUN HUA - 85 YE XING scrapped between 2001 and 2004
