Before moving to Southampton she was operated by Glasgow Corporation and used to take parties of passengers - mainly senior citizens - for trips down the Clyde as she went about her business of dumping sewage sludge. She was sold to Southern Water Authority in 1977 and preserved in 1988 after three years in layup at Southampton
