US Coastguard sail training barque, originally the Nazi German HORST WESSEL. Built 1936 by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg. Taken over by USA in 1945. Anchored in Gravesend Reach, lower Thames, before proceeding upriver for a goodwill visit to London
