Yes My friend, being a former dockyard employee , a dockyard mostly on ship repair work, a collision, an accident was a part of the profit making ,more than maintenance etc, just as repair garages make their profit from auto accidents etc. Alas this is what makes the world of business go round.

I bet you could shave in the mirror like highly polished hull, but will it last in the salty conditions ? it will take a lot of maintenance to keep it in this pristine state.
