Walter Runciman's 1953 Hebburn (Hawthorn,Leslie) built GLENMOOR shifting berth at Cardiff exactly fifty years ago today, on 20th May 1973, following the departure of INDIAN TRIBUNE.
GLENMOOR had sailed from Bombay on 20 March 1973 bound for Cardiff, Glasgow and Liverpool.
She had been transferred to Anchor Line service on their purchase of Runciman.
Later: 1976: sold to Crossworld Fortune Sg Co Ltd of Hong Kong and renamed SAUDI FORTUNE
1981: sold to Lagoon Sg Lines Ltd, Bangladesh
She was beached at Chittagong on 28.1.82 for breaking
